MELBOURNE, Australia – The Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) today announced it has awarded the popular Nissan Pulsar Sedan the maximum five-star safety rating.
Released earlier this year, the new Nissan Pulsar Sedan has already etched its place in Australia's hotly contested Small Car market. The Pulsar Sedan range now adds a top five-star ANCAP safety rating to its compelling list of features that support the Pulsar Sedan's promise of "more" to Australian Small Car buyers.
"The new Nissan Pulsar Sedan's maximum five-star ANCAP safety rating is further proof that the Nissan Pulsar should be on every Small Car buyer's shopping list," said William F. Peffer Jr, Nissan Australia's Managing Director and CEO. "The Pulsar Sedan has been equipped and priced to deliver more to Australian customers, in terms of safety, value and driving comfort."
In addition to a maximum five-star ANCAP safety rating, the Nissan Pulsar sedan range comes equipped with a number of active and passive safety features as standard, including Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Traction Control System (TCS) and six SRS airbags, including front-to-rear SRS curtain airbags. Front seatbelts with load limiters and pre-tensioners are also fitted as standard.
