Tangerang – Nissan has launched the new Nissan X-Trail in Indonesia, underlining the company's commitment to providing mobility for all. Customers can now pre-order the new Nissan X-Trail, as part of the company's announcements made at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in Jakarta.

"Since the X-Trail's launch in Indonesia in 2003, the SUV has become a consumer favorite in Indonesia. With the new version we combine more than 60 years of SUV experience with the latest automotive technologies. It is the perfect companion for urban and upcountry drives with family and friends," said Isao Sekiguchi, president director of Nissan Motor Indonesia.

The new Nissan X-Trail comes packed with a variety of Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, as part of Nissan's vision to provide people with a safer and more exciting driving experience.

Intelligent Cruise Control, the segment first technology, reduces the driver's workload during long journeys since it can maintain distance to lead vehicle automatically. Forward Collision Warning monitor the surrounding area in front of the car and warn drivers for vehicles and pedestrians. Forward Emergency Braking can apply an emergency brake and decelerate to either help avoid a collisions or reduce the damage caused by collision. Other safety features include Rear Cross Traffic Alert for use in parking areas and Lane Departure Warning on highways.

The new X-Trail's robust and dynamic character is enhanced by updated exterior and interior styling with contemporary design. The front styling features Nissan signature boomerang-shaped LED signature Daytime Running Lights, enlarged Nissan signature 'V-Motion' grille. The segment unique, 19-inch alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof provides an urban trend-setting look.  The rear features smoked rear combination lamps with LED boomerang signature. The new Nissan X-Trail is available in five color option; monarch orange, storm white, brilliant silver, deep iris gray, black star.

The New Nissan X-Trail offers a powerful 2.5-liter powertrain, boasting 171 PS and 233 Nm of torque. It comes equipped with features designed to make driving more exciting and convenient. A panoramic sunroof offers everyone aboard the most stunning theater view of the sky, whereas a foot-operated tailgate is useful for both urban loads and outdoor activities when traveling with lots of equipment and luggage. High beam assist automatically switches to low beam if it detects a vehicle in opposite direction. Smart phone connectivity offers seamless connection with the 7-inch touchscreen display with Intelligent Around View Monitor.

To support the announcement and give a superior ownership experience, the new Nissan X-Trail also comes with the Nissan Care Package, providing four years or 50,000 kilometers of free spare parts and service, which is still unique in the SUV segment.

The new Nissan X-Trail is available at a price of IDR 530 million (on the road DKI Jakarta). Deliveries to customers will start from August.

During GIIAS 2019, from 18-28 July, customers can visit the Nissan booth, located at Hall 6, ICE, BSD, for a test drive.
