Nissan today launched two new hot hatchbacks in the form of the all-new Nissan Pulsar and the latest Nissan Note at the Singapore Motorshow 2017. Alongside the hatchback debuts, Nissan is providing a glimpse of its Nissan Intelligent Mobility strategy, its vision for the automotive future in the face of rising challenges across the region.

Launch of all-new Nissan Pulsar

Combining bold design, technical innovations and excellent interior space, the all-new Nissan Pulsar brings a fresh dimension to the hatchback segment, offering all the familiar Nissan qualities in a stylish new package.Instantly recognisable with its trademark Nissan V-Motion grille and signature boomerang-shaped LED lighting with bold and energetic curves on the body side, Nissan Pulsar combines strong lines with immaculate detailing to create an elegant, athletic form.Pulsar's all-turbocharged 1.2L engine offers the perfect combination of performance and efficiency. It punches above its weight with an output of 115PS and high torque of 165Nm, while delivering an excellent fuel efficiency of 5.1L/100km and CO2 emission of 119g/km enabling it to enjoy a $10,000 CEVS rebate.Mated to an advanced Xtronic CVT transmission, Pulsar is engineered to deliver the best of both worlds for drivers, it features ultra-smooth power delivery at low engine speeds and positive, direct shifts under heavier loads.Nissan Pulsar also redefines what buyers can expect in a hatchback. Thanks to a long wheelbase (2,700mm) and clever positioning of the seats, the Pulsar enjoys the excellent rear legroom (692mm), giving the utmost comfort to the rear passengers. The Pulsar also comes with a practical boot that combines a large capacity (385 litres) with a wide loading aperture. For those requiring even more load volume, the 60:40 rear seats simply fold flat to liberate 1,395 litres of space. Despite this, it retains a compact footprint (length 4,387mm), making it easy to park in tight urban environments.Completing the Pulsar's packaging masterclass is a superior build quality where Nissan's design and ergonomics team has created a cabin environment that combines comfort, style and usability through a host of premium features eg. intelligent key system with push start ignition, LED headlights, and a 6.9-inch high-capacitive touch screen interface.
