Nissan Korea (CEO: Sung-Joong Huh) is launching the X-citing SUV, the New Nissan X-Trail and will start selling it from 21 Nissan showrooms around the country.

The New X-Trail is the 3rd generation face-lift model. From the 1st generation model introduced in 2000 to the latest one, all elements including dynamic design and driving performance, outstanding practicality and safety are in optimal balance, thus became the most loved best-selling car model in Nissan since 2015. In 2016 and 2017, it even gained the reputation of being the world's best-selling SUV.

The New Nissan X-Trail completed its firm and dynamic look with sharp lines at the front harmonized with curves towards the rear. Nissan's signature V-motion grille and boomerang shaped full LED headlamps and tail lamps give modern and sharp feel, and the chrome side sill molding and roof rail further stressed the dynamic look of the X-Trail. Inside, leather seats and gear knob add to its refinement, and the D-cut steering wheel offers sporty feel.

Despite being a semi-mid size SUV, the New Nissan X-Trail offers the coziness and roominess of a midsized model. It provides cozy and comfortable feeling to passengers with its best-in-class spacious cabin. In addition, it secured the largest rear seat knee space in the same class, and maximized practicality with sliding/reclining function (40:20:40) in the rear seat. The trunk is 565L large, and it even extends to 1,996L with all the seats folded, thus offering good use of space for leisure life, and completing the aspects of near-perfect outdoor-type SUV.  

The New Nissan X-Trail launched in Korea is equipped with a 2.5L 4 cylinder DOHC gasoline engine combined with XTRONIC Transmission with D-Step tuning boasting of dynamic driving performance with 172hp of maximum output and 24.2kg.m of maximum torque. Plus, it is added with large scale safety features based on Nissan Intelligent Mobility to enable safe and confident driving. There are also the Intelligent Trace Control which controls brake pressure on the wheels upon cornering, the Intelligent Emergency Braking which monitors the car ahead and applies break when needed to prevent collision, and the Intelligent Lane Intervention which warns the driver when driver departs the lane.

It also strengthened product value by applying diverse convenience features for customers. Hands-free Power Liftgate enables opening and closing of the trunk with the kick of your foot, which can be useful in outdoor activities and travelling which require a lot of equipment and luggage. Furthermore, 6-way power driver's seat, 2-way lumbar support, heated steering wheel and panorama sunroof are added to all trims.

The New Nissan X-Trail's price is KRW 35million for the 2WD Smart model, KRW 37.9million for the 4WD model and KRW 41.6million for the 4WD Tech model, including VAT.
