JAKARTA, Indonesia – Nissan is all set to ignite excitement among automotive enthusiasts through its premium line-up models in GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2018. Showcasing its strong heritage and exciting future technologies, Nissan display will align with its vision to provide safe, smart and sustainable mobility to more people in more markets.

These elements are embedded in cars under Nissan Intelligent Mobility and we want to use this special moment at GIIAS to introduce our intelligent SUV, the new Nissan Terra, to Indonesian customer."

As the new Nissan Terra takes the center stage, Nissan showcases a special SUV heritage corner to show Nissan's 60 years of expertise building SUVs. Visitors can see two of the most iconic SUVs, the Nissan Patrol from which the new Terra's DNA is derived, and the Nissan Terrano, the SUV that has had a strong presence in Indonesia and was sold in the market from 1993 – 2006.

"The new Nissan Terra is built in and for South East Asia. It demonstrates our commitment to making innovation accessible to more customers in the region," said Yutaka Sanada, Nissan's regional senior vice president for the Asia and Oceania region.

"This Terra also marks the latest step in our product offensive for the region. This is an important part of delivering Nissan's mid-term business plan Nissan M.O.V.E. 2022 for this region," Sanada said.

The new Nissan Terra represents this strong SUV legacy and combines this with several Nissan Intelligent Mobility advanced technologies. Visitors can explore various Nissan Intelligent Mobility features of the new Nissan Terra through interactive panels.

In addition to the new Terra, Nissan displays other popular products - Elgrand, Teana, X-trail, Serena and Grand Livina. Exclusive test drive options are available for the new Nissan Terra and the Nissan X-trail Xtremer at the outdoor test drive area.

Car enthusiasts can interact with Nissan's sales team and financing partners at the dealing area and avail various special sales programs during GIIAS 2018 like easy ownership with 0% installment up to 3-years; free service & parts until 50,000 km; special trade-in program; and exclusive merchandises (T&C applied).
