NASHVILLE, USA – The Nissan Altima, one of North America's most popular cars, drove back into the headlines again when earlier this month Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com named the 2015 model one of the "10 Best Sedans Under $25,000." KBB.com editors selected the Altima due to its standout fuel economy, notably comfortable front seats and "cool" Easy Fill Tyre Alert system, among other features.

"With a starting Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price* (MSRP) of just US$22,300, the 2015 Altima offers a long list of comfort and technology features which make it a customer favourite," said Dan Mohnke, vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations. "We are honoured that the Altima has been chosen for this honour by the experts at Kelley Blue Book."

Since its total redesign for the 2013 model year, the Nissan Altima remains one of North America's top-selling vehicles – embraced by owners for its premium exterior and interior design, rewarding driving experience and innovative, driver-focused technology. Altima also offers efficient combined-cycle fuel economy at 7.5-litres per 100km* (2.5-litre petrol engine, 91RON) and an array of high-value model grades that meet a range of customer needs and budgets.

As in previous years, its dynamic performance is provided by a choice of a 127kW 2.5-litre DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine or 183kW 3.5-litre V6, with both engines matched with a smooth, efficient Xtronic transmission. The 4-wheel independent suspension features Active Understeer Control for refined feel and responsive handling.

The 2015 Altima offers a premium interior design that looks and feels a class above, with standard NASA-inspired Zero Gravity front seats, Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth® and an Advanced Drive-Assist™ Display in the centre of the instrument cluster that integrates key information right in front of the driver.
