MELBOURNE, Australia – Nissan has packed even more innovation and excitement into its Micra line-up for the 2013 edition of the popular light car.

The highly-acclaimed 1.2L engine previously seen only in the ST grade will now feature across the Micra range, a powerplant widely considered one of the most cost-effective in its class.

Head-lamp leveler and auto-off functions are also now standard, with new seats and rear arm rests also across the range.

The Micra ST-L offers incredible value with the addition of 15 inch alloy wheels, fog lights, rear spoiler, passenger seat bag holder and driver armrest. The Ti also sees the addition of a rear spoiler.

The changes come as sourcing for the Nissan Micra switches from Indonesia to India.

"The Nissan Micra is one of the most affordable cars on the Australian market and we're pleased to offer an even more appealing proposition to customers," said Nissan Australia Managing Director and CEO William F Peffer Jr.
