JAKARTA, Indonesia – Nissan today confirmed the launch of the new Nissan Terra frame-based SUV at the 2018 Gaikindo International Auto Show (GIIAS) organized from August 2nd – 12th

"The new Nissan Terra is our commitment to Indonesia. The SUV is built on Nissan's 60 years of SUV heritage and will come equipped with range of Nissan Intelligent Mobility features," said Eiichi Koito, President Director PT Nissan Motor Indonesia.

"A strong product lineup in Indonesia is a key part of our mid-term business plan. The launch of first designed South East Asia model like the new Nissan Terra is the proof of this commitment," Koito said.

Nissan announced in May it is launching the new Terra in South East Asia. Indonesia is one of the top 5 markets to receive the vehicle immediately after the launch. The new SUV combines advanced driving technologies with spacious comfort and top-in-class engine performance, allowing customers to take on any journey with confidence.

The new Nissan Terra will not be the only highlight at Nissan booth. Nissan will also display other popular Nissan cars and provide opportunity to customer to test drive their favorite vehicles.

Nissan will also organize numerous activities to provide 360° customer experience including SUV heritage corner that showcases some of Nissan's iconic SUV models, to interactive walls to highlight Nissan Intelligent Mobility features on the new Nissan Terra. Nissan Intelligent Mobility technology transforms how cars are powered, driven, and connected to society.
