BANGKOK, Thailand – Nissan Motor Thailand today launched the new Nissan Teana, showcasing a refined and fresh new appearance, including the "Energetic Flow".

The most dramatic of the changes in the new Teana are on the front end of the vehicle, with all-new panels and pieces forward of the A-pillars, including fascia, bumper, fenders, hood, and lights. Two key elements of this are the redesigned V-Motion grille and boomerang-shaped headlights.

Another innovation included in the new Nissan Teana is the Remote Engine Start feature, which allows the driver to start the vehicle and the air conditioning before arriving at the car. This means customers no longer have to worry about discomfort from heat buildup while their vehicle is locked.

The new Teana continues to bring classic roominess, allowing both driver and passengers to fully experience its modern interior design and unprecedented level of comfort.

It also offers the latest embedded Nissan Intelligent Mobility features and advanced technologies for safer and more confident driving. These include the Intelligent Around View Monitor (IAVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), and Lane Departure Warning (LDW). These are helpful whether commuting on city streets, getting into tight parking spaces or driving upcountry on the highway.

This new Teana has been elegantly redesigned to be the ultimate luxury sedan, bringing together dynamic design with Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies. As the luxury premium sedan in the Nissan family of vehicles, the new Teana provides an exquisite driving experience.

Nissan is also ensuring that it brings 'Innovation that Excites' to everything it does, including launching the new Teana at a hi-tech event using virtual reality - the first time this has been used for a new vehicle product launch in Thailand.

"While Nissan Intelligent Mobility focuses on the many unique safety and technology features in our vehicles, this high-tech launch reflects the changing automotive environment and consumer expectations here in Thailand, who are spending ever-more time online consuming information, videos, photos, and reviews," said Antoine Barthes, president, Nissan Thailand.

The new Teana has responsive acceleration and excellent fuel economy, and is powered by the QR25DE engine with the XTRONIC CVT in 2.5L grade and the MR20DE in the 2.0L grade.

The new Teana will be available at nationwide dealerships, with prices starting at THB 1,339,000 for the 2.0XE model, THB 1,426,000  for the 2.0XL model, THB 1,476,000 for 2.0XL Navi model and THB 1,674,000 for 2.5XV Navi model. The vehicle is available in a new color called Radiant Red together with five existing colors: Deep Iris Gray, Storm White, Black Star, Brilliant Silver, and Grayish Bronze.

"At Nissan, we continue to put our customers at the heart of everything we do. I believe the new Teana, with its enhanced design and sophisticated features and Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, will meet the needs and expectations of even our most sophisticated customers," Barthes said.
