BUSAN, Korea – Nissan has unveiled the 2018 Nissan X-Trail for the Korean market at the Busan International Motor Show, as Nissan celebrates 10 years of sales in Korea.

Nissan also showcased the all-electric BladeGlider at this year's show, a concept car that combines zero-emissions with high-performance in a revolutionary sports-car design.

"We have prepared only the best vehicles for the show to share our vision for the future of motoring with visitors," said Huh Sung-joong, president of Nissan Korea.

"As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Nissan Korea, we promise to make even greater strides in providing safe, enjoyable and smart products and services for Korean customers."

The Nissan X-Trail, a mid-size SUV with new advanced technologies, spacious interior and boot capacity, will go on sale in Korea in the second half of this year, underlining Nissan's commitment to bringing more innovation to the market.

The Nissan X-Trail was the world's best-selling SUV in 2017 for the second year in a row, according to figures from global automotive intelligence firm JATO Dynamics. The vehicle has won a reputation among customers for its stylish design, superior driving performance and advanced safety features.

Nissan BladeGlider is a 100% electric sports car demonstrating the future of performance vehicles. The vehicle is a strong symbol of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, Nissan's vision for making cars more exciting by redefining how they are driven, powered and integrated into society.

With the BladeGlider, Nissan's vision was for an agile, efficient electric vehicle that would provide new dimensions of driving fun and excitement – a car that would "glide," thanks to the near-silent performance of its electric powertrain and aerodynamic shape.

The motor show is being held at BEXCO in Busan from June 8 to 17.
