THE EARLY TURNOVER SCHEME
The ETS is one of the government's measures to reduce fine particulate matter emissions to meet Singapore's 2020 air quality targets.
Incentives include:
1. Allow owners to transfer unused COE from existing vehicle to replacement vehicle.
2. Owners will enjoy a bonus COE period for replacement vehicle, proportional to the existing vehicle remaining 20 year life span.
3. Owners only need to pay the Prevailing Quota Premium (PQP) for their replacement vehicle after offsetting the transferred COE period and bonus COE period.
