Hanoi – Nissan Vietnam today announces the launch of a new addition to the Nissan NP300 Navara family, the All-New NP300 Navara EL 2WD AT to complement the current range consisting of the VL 4WD AT, the SL 4WD MT and the E 2WD MT.
The new NP300 Navara EL 2WD AT is the first and only pickup truck in its vehicle segment in Vietnam to be equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission that provides more positive feel while giving more precise and satisfying gear engagement resulting in smooth acceleration and better fuel economy. The new variant is also equipped with the advanced and highly durable but easy to maintain multi-linked rear suspension system that provides good ride comfort and better handling performance for this class of vehicles.
Backed by Nissan's 80 years of global pickup truck know-how and legendary reliability, the NP300 Navara EL 2WD AT promises to meet the needs of demanding individuals as well as business owners in Vietnam.
NP300 Navara EL 2WD AT comes with a full sized body riding on size 255/70R16 tires and equipped with an improved version of Nissan's 2.5-liter DOHC in-line 4-cylinder Diesel engine to generate maximum power of 161HP at 3,600 RPM and maximum torque of 403Nm torque at just 2,000 RPM to lead again in the 2.5-liter Diesel Engine pickup class in terms of maximum horsepower and torque ratings.
With safety in mind, the NP300 Navara EL 2WD AT will assist the driver in unexpected situations. The Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) balances the braking effort between the front and the rear for maximum braking efficiency. At the same time, the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) optimises braking performance by electronically preventing wheel lock-up to enable the driver to maintain directional control even in emergency braking situations while the Brake Assist System (BA) optimises braking performance by producing additional stopping power and activating ABS earlier. The Zone Body construction and SRS dual front airbags protect the driver and passengers in the event of collision.

The new NP300 Navara EL 2WD AT variant is fully imported as a completely built-up (CBU) unit from Thailand and available with 5 colors: Savana Orange, Earth Brown, Twilight Gray, Brilliant Silver and Pearl White. It is priced at VND649,000,000 (inclusive of 10% VAT) and comes with a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty (whichever comes first), and can be purchased at all Nissan dealerships nationwide from 14thApr, 2016.
For the launch period until 30th Apr, 2016, early bird purchasers are given a special discount of VND20,000,000 fo each unit.
