Bangkok, Thailand – Nissan Thailand celebrates the 10th anniversary of its top-selling urban sedan, Nissan Almera, with the launch of the latest Almera Sportech-X. Maintaining Almera's DNA of advance technology, spaciousness, comfort and convenience, Almera Sportech-X has raised the bar with ultimate premium decorations that also accentuate the urban sedan's performance and sporty spirit.

Nissan Almera Sportech-X catches all eyes with the distinctive exterior: new glossy black front grill, new sportier 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome exhaust pipe finisher, side sticker with Sportech-X logo and spirited Sportech-X logo at the vehicle's B Pillar and rear trunk.
The sporty and premium decoration continues inside with "Quole Modure" premium black seat to enjoy on the entire journey and comes with burgundy stiches that amplify its sportiness. The Sportech-X logo at several parts, for example front seats, shift knob base, kicking plate, floor mats and sport paddles enhance its sport look. Meanwhile, the chic ambient light brings interior sportiness to the max.
The latest upgraded infotainment system NissanConnect supports smartphone connectivity via both Android Auto* and Apple CarPlay to enable mobile application usage for instance; the navigation system via Google Map or the music streaming via Spotify and etc. at its 8-inch touchscreen display audio system. Other connectivity systems are Bluetooth, USB and AUX-IN and intelligent voice command system (Voice Recognition) for enjoyment on every journey.
To address urban drivers' demand for powerful yet fuel efficient car, the Almera Sportech-X maintains its excellent performance to enhance the fun & pleasure of driving together with its outstanding fuel efficiency. Thanks to the 1.0-liter turbo, giving a maximum power of 100 horsepower (Ps) and the max torque of 152 Nm, this HRA0 powertrain delivers the powerful and quick acceleration from the engine's turbo flat torque character. In addition, the XTRONIC CVT with D-Step Logic transmission enhances the driving excitement with the smooth gear shift but still giving an instantaneous acceleration that improved the vehicle's overtaking resulting in a more efficient drive.
The Almera Sportech-X increases driver's confidence in every ride with a full suite of Nissan's 360° SAFETY SHIELD technologies, such as Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (IFCW) and Intelligent Emergency Braking (IEB), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Intelligent Around View Monitor (IAVM) and Moving Object Detection (MOD) with four cameras at the front, rear and sides of the car, as well as a standard safety system with 6 airbags (front airbags, side airbags and curtain side airbags - for V models and above).
