Nissan scores first place in Learning & Technology Impact Awards

MELBOURNE, Australia – Nissan Australia has been awarded first place in the LearnX Asia Pacific 2012 Learning & Technology Impact Awards at the Learning Innovations Conference held in Melbourne.

The Nissan Learning Academy was awarded first place in the category of 'Best New Initiative – eLearning Widespread Adoption', ahead of second placed Caltex Australia Petroleum and the Victorian Department of Health in third place.

The first place award demonstrates Nissan's innovative and progressive thinking when delivering training across its dealership network. The Nissan Learning Academy's Learning Management System and its application across the entire organisation helped secure the award.

"Everyone involved in the Nissan Learning Academy should feel proud of their work as recognised by this award," said Nissan Australia Managing Director and CEO William F Peffer Jr.

"We have a great team of people behind our Learning Management System working hard with our organisation and our dealer network to ensure they have the tools and skills necessary to operate at the highest possible level of performance."
