MELBOURNE, Australia – Nissan has carried its Australian sales form into its new financial year by recording another monthly record in April.

Based on provisional internal results, Nissan sold 5,114 units in April 2013, its highest sales result for that month as a full line importer. The result is 9.2 percent, or 431 units, stronger than April 2012.

Nissan's calendar year-to-date sales are up 17 percent on the same time last year, providing solid momentum for the exciting year of new product launches ahead in 2013.
